Trojan Em Rex Emergency Exit / Door Release Unit – Used in Electronic Access Control – Supports 9~16VDC Input – 2 Sets of N/O & N/C Outputs
The Em-Rex® (Emergency Exit Device) is an emergency door release unit, which can be used on its own or in conjunction with our Request To Exit products, together these provide a total access controlled exit solution.
Key Features :-
- The unit is field re-settable, a reset tool is supplied with every unit
- The activation window is made from a durable polycarbonate, no parts require replacement after an activation
- Two outputs; one to break lock power and one for status monitoring
- Visual confirmation of activation, a red indicator bar appears once activated
- Audible confirmation of activation via an internal sounder
- Auxiliary input for remote operation of sounder (can be triggered by external trigger or by installation in the Em Rex® Monitored Cover unit (see here)
- Minimal moving parts
- Complies with BS 5839 Pt 2. standard for emergency egress
- A Weather Protected version is also available
- Single gang profile fits a standard New Zealand and Australian electrical flush box (95mm H, 60mm W, 50mm D)
- Power requirements: 9 to 16Vdc (only if using on board sounder)
- Current Draw – Standby: 0mA @ 13.6Vdc
- Current Draw – Activated: 24mA @ 13.6Vdc
- Two sets Clean N/O and N/C outputs (changes status upon activation)
- The contacts are rated at 1A, 30Vdc
- The faceplate is made from durable materials and is easily cleaned
- RCM, CE & RoHS certified, complies with BS 5839 Pt 2. Standard for “Break-Glass Panels”
